Rare Disease Support Music Video

I wanted to create a music video for this  campaign because, after interviewing several rare disease patients, I discovered a common thread: their love for music. Music serves as a source of joy for many rare disease patients, helping them relax and escape from their worries. Some patients also play instruments or sing to help them with muscle control and prevent muscular degeneration.

Through our campaign's music video, we had the privilege of collaborating with Ms. Connie Wong, an inspiring three-fingered pianist whose mission extends far beyond music. Facing her own physical challenges, Connie uses her musical talent to show that limitations need not define one's potential. She works to motivate patients with various medical conditions to show them that art and music can be powerful tools for both physical and emotional healing.

I chose "Fight Song" for this project because its message of resilience aligns well with the struggles faced by rare disease patients. The song embodies hope and empowerment by encouraging individuals to keep fighting against their challenges. I hope this music video will resonate with the patients and their families, and inspire them to stay strong in their journey.
